TAFASIR : Jurnal Ilmu Al-Quran dan Tafsir  is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research to encourage and promote the study of the Qur’an. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with Particular attention is paid to works dealing with religious and socio-cultural studies using an interdisciplinary perspective. The journal is published biannually, in June and December by Ma'had Aly As'adiyah Sengkang Indonesia.

TAFASIR has been accredited based on the Decree of the Director General of Strengthening Research and Development of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026. This accreditation in effective since the issuance of Vol. 1 No. 2 Years 2023 until  Vol. 6 No. 1 Years 2028 (Sinta 4).

The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.
